There is a verse in the New Testament that is very challenging for us today.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” John 14:12
Jesus is giving to us a deep, theological principle about His disciples, those who believe in Him. He is saying is that those who truly believe in Him should be doing the same works He did, and even greater works than He did.
This verse should lead us to ask ourselves, “If I believe in Jesus, am I doing the same works Jesus did and greater works than He did?”
We have to remember that Jesus wasn’t talking to theologians and religious leaders of His day, He was talking to fishermen, tax collectors, housewives, and other ordinary people like you and me.
So, how do we begin living in this new anointing so that we can go out and do the works Jesus did?
That is what I’m talking about in today’s podcast.
